Ab Lab - A 30 minute abdominal workout designed
to strengthen and tone your abdominal muscles and lower
back. Modifications are offered for all fitness
levels. Arthritis Foundation Tai Chi Program -
Level I - A 60-min program designed to improve the
quality of your life, especially if you suffer from
arthritis. Level one uses Sun style Tai Chi, one of
the four major recognized styles of Tai Chi. This
style includes agile steps and exercises that will
improve mobility, breathing and relaxation. The
movements (21 in total) do not require deep bending or squatting, which
makes it more comfortable to learn.
Arthritis Foundation Tai Chi Program - Level II -
A 60-min program designed to improve the quality of your
life, especially if you suffer from arthritis.
Level one uses Sun style Tai Chi, of the four major
recognized styles of Tai Chi. This style includes
agile steps and exercises that will improve mobility,
breathing and relaxation. There are 10 more
movements included in Level II. Prerequisite:
Level I.
FFF (Fundamentals of Functional Fitness) - A
"technique" focused 60-min class
developed with the body's full benefit in mind. You will
gain the physical and mental capacity to meet real-life
physical challenges. A person who has "achieved"
functional fitness is capable of integrating different
muscle groups, and learns to rely on endurance and
full-body strength to perform natural, physical tasks.
Functional Fitness exercises are used by the US Marine
Corps to prepare Marines for combat. FFF will focus on
integration, coordination, balance and correct movement.
Functional Yoga - This 45-min chair-based
class is beneficial for anyone! Chair
Yoga is one of the most gentle forms of yoga.
Complicated maneuvers and complex movements are
avoided in a chair-based yoga class, resulting
in fluid and comfortable movements with the
chair as an optional tool. Within this type of
yoga class, you can cover standing, seated, and
prone postures. Most of these classes use the
chair only, due to the difficulty students may
find getting down or up off the floor. The
results are a stronger and more flexible body.
PIYO - A 60-min class that combines Yoga and
Pilates. This class contains the perfect balance
of flexibility and strength exercises.
Modifications are offered for all fitness levels.
Power Hour - A 60-min interval class
that uses weights, bands and body bars, along with
cardio intervals on the step bench to work you from head
to toe. This is a great mix of cardio and toning
for all fitness levels
Power Hour Plus - A 60-minute class topped off
with 15 minutes of yoga. This class uses weights,
bands and body bars, along with cardio intervals on the
step bench, which will provide ultimate benefit from
head to toe! This class will end with 15 minutes
of deep stretching utilizing basic yoga poses.
Modifications are offered for all fitness levels.
Power Pump- A 60-min class that focuses on
toning and strengthening every muscle in your body.
With the use of weights, body bars, and bands. your body
will thank you for this total workout. This class
is appropriate for all fitness levels.
Step and Core - A 75-minute cardio and
core class. This class uses adjustable step
benches, as well as fun choreography to lift your heart
rate, and get you ready for the day! The intense
cardio workout is followed by a 20-minute work out
designed to strengthen and tone your core muscles.
It may take a few classes to master the "moves," but it
is worth the effort, and will certainly help you break
through those plateaus!
Step Challenge - A 60-minute cardio class that
uses step benches, along with unique choreography that
is designed to challenge you. Modifications are
offered for all fitness levels.
Step and Pump - A one-hour interval class that
uses the step bench and weights, as well as stability
balls, to create the perfect balance of cardio and
toning. Modifications are offered for all fitness
levels.
Yoga - A one-hour relaxation and flexibility class
that will not only relax and stretch those sore muscles,
but improve your strength, balance and flexibility.
This class is appropriate for all fitness levels,
although the evening class offers a few more advanced
moves.
Zumba- A 60-min high energy class that
fuses Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow dance moves to
create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will leave
you wanting more! The goal is simple: We
want you to LOVE working out! Zumba fanatics
achieve long-term benefits while having a blast in one
exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing,
awe-inspiring movements! This class is suitable
for all fitness levels.
Zumbatomic (Ages 4-12 yrs) - Kids love to crank up
the music, shake, wiggle and have a blast with their
friends. So why not get fit while they're at it?
This class fuses the Zumba program's exciting moves,
with the psychology and physiology relevant to teaching
your kids.
Zumba Toning - A 60-min Latin-inspired
dance 'n tone program. Zumba toning is the
original Zumba dance class, but taken to the next level!
This innovative muscle training program adds light
weight toning sticks to provide students with a full
body workout. In a relatively short period of
time, this challenging workout helps in building
coordination and muscle endurance. This class is
open to everyone....no need to have previous dance
experience. Ditch the workout, and join the
party!!
