SILVERDALE FITNESS
FACILITY
RULES
Silverdale Fitness wants all their members to benefit from the rewards of
strength and cardio training
Before you start your program here, we ask that you read
and understand the following rules:
- You must be at least 16 years of age or
older to enter the fitness room un-chaperoned. You MUST check-in at the
front desk, each time you enter the gym. Anyone under the age of 14 must have
pre-authorization from club management, must complete two 30-min training
sessions (appointments are made with a personal trainer), and be accompanied
by an adult or guardian at all times.
- If you sign up for a membership of six
months or longer, you are entitled to a 30-minute free orientation with one
of our certified personal trainers. You may schedule this appointment
at the front desk. Our Personal Training staff will complete
a health history form, and it will remain on file at our facility. Our Trainers
also need this completed information before they can prescribe a
program for you. Medical clearance may be needed before starting a program.
We can provide you with a medical form for your Doctor to fill out for our
instructors.
- Proper workout attire is required to enter
the fitness room. We ask that you wear sneakers and comfortable workout
clothing. No jeans or work boots will be allowed. Please be courteous to
those who have breathing conditions (i.e. asthma), and refrain from wearing
cologne or perfume during your workouts.
- We provide towels and disinfectant spray
bottles for wiping down equipment after you use it. Please place the dirty
towel into the "used towel" bin.
Please be courteous to the next member using the machine, and sanitize it
after you are done. Please discard the dirty towel into the appropriate
receptacles, and return spray bottles to the appropriate location after use.
- To schedule an appointment with a Certified Personal
Trainer, please call or stop by our front desk. They will put you in
touch with a trainer, and you and the trainer will schedule a consultation
at a time that works best for you. Rate sheets are available at the
front desk. Proper training is the key to one's success with a fitness
program, so we encourage you to take advantage of this valuable service.
- Please be aware that others may want to use the
same strength training equipment that you are using. When doing multiple
sets, please allow others to rotate in-between your sets.
- Please leave all jackets and bags in a
locker, or in the bins provided downstairs. Please avoid leaving
clothing, towels and/or water bottles on the counters. window-sills, or
floor. We don't want you or someone else to trip over anything left out in the open.
- Please refrain from dropping the weights, and
PLEASE use a spotter and collars when lifting heavy weights! This is for
your safety and others around you. If you do not have a lifting
partner to help you, ask staff on duty. We are here to help you!
- Please refrain from bringing in any food or
drink (other than a water bottle) while exercising. We provide healthy
snacks and drinks for a minimal cost.
- As a courtesy to others, please refrain from
using profanity, extended conversations on your cell phone, or talking too loudly in the
workout areas, as they are a distraction to other members.
We want all of our members to enjoy their workouts
at Silverdale Fitness.
Please let us know if you feel like one of these rules are not being followed by other members.
We sincerely thank you for
joining us!
